Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with equipment installs and tests.
  • •Create and modify equipment procedures.
  • •Improve tool uptime through detailed solving and repairs; ensure quality workmanship and maintain accurate maintenance records in check sheets/tracking programs.
  • •Monitor, analyze, and address daily SPC issues and respond to out-of-control SPC events.
  • •Keep the Lead Tech/Lead Engineer updated on tool and area issues, including electrical or mechanical repair work on fab equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience, with vacuum system experience a plus.
  • •Basic to intermediate knowledge of AC/DC circuits and electronic components, plus physics fundamentals.
  • •Working knowledge of SPC principles and accurate application for semiconductor equipment/processes.
  • •Basic knowledge of test and calibration equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes/O-scopes, multimeters, DMMs).
  • •Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), including night shifts, standing for the shift and lifting equipment.
