Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, activate, and operate test hardware and equipment (including test software) to evaluate component and system performance for mobility network applications.
  • •Troubleshoot hardware issues in real time and provide feedback to responsible owners to prevent repeat issues.
  • •Support investigations and root-cause analysis of non-conformances, and develop test requirements for flight hardware to drive design improvements.
  • •Partner with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to conceptualize and develop test systems for Starlink hardware.
  • •Create and modify software applications to run data acquisition and control systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of professional mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing (internships/co-ops and club projects can apply).
  • •Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, and/or structural systems.
  • •Experience working with composites and integration of avionics systems.
  • •Experience writing test plans and procedures, including providing go/no-go judgment and rationale.
