Key Responsibilities

  • •Extend and administer commercial credit within loan policy guidelines, including recommending or approving loan actions (within specified limits or via referral).
  • •Interview loan applicants and evaluate credit and financial history; examine collateral to determine adequacy.
  • •Maintain current credit files and ensure loan documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with policy and laws.
  • •Assign and update credit/risk ratings, monitor loan portfolio performance, and recommend changes to risk ratings as conditions evolve.
  • •Administer workout programs and collections for problem or past-due loans, coordinating internally or with bank counsel as needed.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to a four year college degree plus 7 years related experience and/or training, and 6 years related management experience (or equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to read, analyze, and understand financial reports and legal documents, and respond to complex inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies.
  • •Strong mathematical skills to calculate interest, discounts, proportions, percentages, and other financial figures.
  • •Ability to apply critical thinking to solve practical problems with limited standardization and interpret varied written/oral instructions.
  • •Manage supervisory responsibilities for a small group (3–7) of employees, including interviewing, planning work, and assessing performance.
