Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering the Quick and Shops customer experience.
  • •Write high-quality Golang code, delivering complete features and independently resolving bugs.
  • •Build and maintain REST APIs, service-to-service integrations, and gateway/configuration-driven systems.
  • •Own and evolve backend data models and catalog systems, and manage event-driven systems with Kafka and Avro schema evolution.
  • •Support AWS infrastructure, participate in on-call rotations, debug production issues, and mentor junior colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven backend engineering experience at a mid-band level or above; this is not an entry-level role.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with Golang (or another modern language with evidence of ability to ramp up).
  • •Product-facing backend experience serving end customers, including building distributed systems.
  • •Experience with REST APIs, service-to-service integrations, and data modeling.
  • •Familiarity with Kafka and Avro schema evolution, plus AWS exposure (S3, CloudFront, DNS, certificate management).
