Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems.
  • •Assist in diagnosing and correcting routine problems on simulators and associated systems.
  • •Perform pre-flight and post-flight tasks on designated simulators.
  • •Perform basic visual alignments and run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).
  • •Utilize the maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities; assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.

Key Requirements

  • •2-year technical degree or equivalent related training.
  • •1 year of simulator-related experience in electronics/avionics, automated systems, or computer networking repair and troubleshooting.
  • •Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints and schematics.
  • •Knowledge of analog and digital theory.
  • •Basic skills in operating test equipment and soldering and circuit board repair.
