Key Responsibilities

  • •Broker/place primarily Clinical Trials Liability coverage plus Products Liability, Errors & Omissions, and Excess Liability.
  • •Market new business and renewals, handling placements from initial market selection through long-term servicing.
  • •Negotiate effectively for clients and prospects and ensure placements are handled timely and correctly.
  • •Develop productive relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teams.
  • •Analyze prospect and client exposures, coordinate with internal units, and create renewal strategies and coverage proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7+ years of insurance brokerage and/or underwriting experience (preferred Life Sciences in Clinical Trials Liability and/or Casualty Line experience).
  • •Effective working knowledge of carrier underwriting practices and processes.
  • •A Property and Casualty Brokers License is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not already active.
  • •Proven client-facing skills, including effective presentations and communications.
  • •Ability to independently manage a dynamic book of clients in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.
