Key Responsibilities

  • •End-to-end network design: Own the design lifecycle from requirements through deployable architecture, including topology, IP addressing, routing policy, and fabric configuration for AI training and inference fabrics.
  • •Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Hardware, DC Operations, ICT cabling, Software Engineering, and Validation to ensure designs are technically sound and buildable.
  • •Design documentation: Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), BOMs, cabling matrices, and design decision records to hand over to deployment teams.
  • •Physical infrastructure integration: Translate logical designs into rack layout, power planning, cabling feasibility, and cooling considerations.
  • •RDMA & AI fabric focus: Design lossless Ethernet fabrics for RDMA workloads and understand impact on distributed AI training performance.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of network engineering experience with a demonstrated focus on network design and architecture.
  • •Deep L1–L3 expertise in datacenter networking including CLOS/fat-tree topologies, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, IP addressing at scale, and physical layer design.
  • •Working knowledge of RDMA network design (InfiniBand and/or RoCEv2), lossless Ethernet configuration (PFC, ECN, DCQCN).
  • •Experience designing networks around GPU platforms (NVIDIA DGX/HGX, AMD MI-series, or other accelerators).
  • •Ability to reason through rack layout, power budgets, structured cabling, and equipment placement with a physical-behind-the-design approach.
