Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport vehicles, equipment, and Class IX materiel.
  • •Support turn-in operations by hauling assets from Army units to the site/designated locations and coordinating local and long-haul movements.
  • •Load, secure, and unload cargo using chains, binders, straps, and blocking/bracing; ensure proper load securement and weight distribution.
  • •Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), report deficiencies, and maintain driver logs, trip tickets, fuel records, and inspection sheets.
  • •Complete shipping and transport documentation (e.g., DD Form 1348-1A, DD Form 626, DD Form 836, TCMDs, bills of lading) and comply with DOT, Army safety standards, and HAZMAT transport rules.

Salary: USD 23.17 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B as required).
  • •3–5 years of heavy truck driving experience; prior Army or contractor logistics experience preferred.
  • •Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA safety regulations and Army transportation regulations (AR 55-355, AR 710-2, DTR 4500.9-R).
  • •Must have a Real ID and be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
  • •Basic English proficiency and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
