Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as technical lead for the AI platform engineering team, setting implementation direction, coding standards, and key architecture decisions.
  • •Lead code reviews and architecture discussions to ensure decisions are documented and aligned with platform strategy across quality, testing, documentation, observability, and security hardening.
  • •Design, build, and operate scalable high-performance platform components exposing AI/ML capabilities, including standards and governance for Terraform-based IaC on Azure.
  • •Integrate and operationalize AI services (LLM APIs, vector search, RAG, embeddings, caching) and govern access via AI gateways at production scale.
  • •Define CI/CD and reliability standards for the platform team, including quality gates, deployment patterns, incident handling, and MTTC reduction.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years operating in a technical leadership capacity within AI or cloud-native platform teams, with a relevant CS/engineering background.
  • •Proven production experience building and operating AI/ML platform services or LLM-based integrations.
  • •Strong backend fundamentals including service architecture, REST API design, performance optimization, and reliability with monitoring.
  • •Expert Kubernetes and hands-on Docker and Azure App Services knowledge, including networking, security policy design, and production debugging.
  • •Expert Terraform/IaC ownership on Azure, plus experience with Databricks, MLflow governance, AI gateways, PostgreSQL, and LLM/vector/RAG capabilities.
