Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and diagnose issues using real-time data.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing pump, power, and HVAC equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations, handling repairs as needed.
  • •Travel to customer job sites when required for preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete daily electronic/electronic documentation (work orders) and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and to read schematics.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate a company vehicle.
