Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data for substation components, equipment specifications, and design review processes under IEEE/NESC standards and NERC regulations.
  • •Provide entry-level assistance with electrical engineering design tasks including single-line/three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, substation layouts, bus arrangements, grounding grid design, and lightning protection.
  • •Support routine engineering functions for equipment sizing, AC/DC panel design, and conduit/trenching design strategies to meet safety and functionality requirements.
  • •Under close supervision, develop electrical calculations for loads, equipment/feeder sizing, voltage drop, grounding, lighting circuits and controls, and power distribution.
  • •Generate complete, accurate documentation using electronic systems, drawings, and field/work site logs while complying with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree.
  • •0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.

  • •Familiarity with electrical engineering laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
