Job Summary

Support and execute safety practices across projects by implementing the HSE plan, performing risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training to maintain a safe working environment and compliance with IMS policies.

Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor the execution of HSE activities on a project to ensure HSE requirements are met as per the project HSE plan and HSEMS requirement, continually monitor site activity with regards to HSE.
•Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans to ensure safe evacuation procedures.
•Provide trainings to workers on HSE related subjects in incident prevention, first aid as well as other activities and safety awareness programs to increase awareness of HSE practices and procedures.
•Ensure that existing hazards, unsafe work conditions and /or practices are identified on a daily basis and observation reports are raised and corrective measures are recorded.
•Provide data on daily, weekly and monthly reports to monitor and track HSE performance.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of HSE experience; 3 years relevant experience; GCC experience is a plus
•Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify health, safety, and environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies
•Ability to investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
•Experience in developing and delivering HSE training programs to employees, contractors, and stakeholders
•ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, to support HSE processes and reporting
