Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, structure, and execute corporate finance transactions with WBG and FI clients, taking full responsibility for deal origination, structuring, and execution.
  • •Lead proactive deal diligence: financial modelling, due diligence, in-depth credit analysis, sharia structuring, pitch decks, transaction materials, and risk identification.
  • •Negotiate and prepare deal documentation and terms (including facility documentation, terms sheets, mandate letters) and work with clients, lawyers, and syndicate banks, including Shari'a alignment.
  • •Supervise associates and provide deal team leadership; embed origination and structuring aligned with an “originate to distribute” model.
  • •Drive business momentum and compliance outcomes: develop and manage the deals pipeline, support syndication strategy, ensure audit file quality, and ensure compliance with Sharia, Central Bank/regulatory requirements, and ADIB policies.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 7-10 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, advisory, or private equity, including financial modelling, capital raising, business valuations, and credit ratings, preferably in UAE/GCC banking.
  • •Strong track record in end-to-end structuring and execution of deals across the full lifecycle.
  • •Sophisticated understanding of financing considerations and negotiation of facility documentation based on LMA standards.
  • •Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, including sound understanding of credit and market risk.
  • •Excellent academic record including a Masters or MBA or CFA or CA (or equivalent) from a reputed university.
