Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect and analyze data to support transport planning work.
  • •Develop transport strategies and plans, including feasibility and scheme development and appraisal.
  • •Develop and apply transport models for transport assessments.
  • •Prepare transport assessments for developments and assist with preparation of reports, presentations, bids, and proposals.
  • •Attend meetings and workshops with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, contributing technical input as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Economics, Maths, or an MSc in Transport Planning (2:1 or above), or equivalent.
  • •Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of Transport Planning and a demonstrable interest in developing a career in the industry.
  • •Willing and able to work towards chartership with the TPS, CIHT, or ICE.
  • •Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external clients in writing and verbally, and structure/prioritise work effectively.
