Key Responsibilities

  • •Software Design & Development: Design and implement small to medium-sized features or components based on defined requirements and reference architectures using architectural patterns like microservices, event-driven messaging, and APIs.
  • •Code Quality & Engineering Discipline: Write high-quality, readable, and testable code; develop automated unit and component tests; participate in code reviews; address defects, performance issues, and reliability gaps; follow secure coding practices.
  • •Production & Operational Responsibility: Build software with reliability, observability, and supportability; implement logging, metrics, and basic alerts; participate in production releases and on-call rotations as needed; assist in incident investigations.
  • •Collaboration & Team Execution: Work with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and engineers; communicate progress and risks; participate in sprint planning and retrospectives; contribute to delivery commitments.
  • •Continuous Improvement & Growth: Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability; reduce technical debt; deepen understanding of RTP platforms and payments domain.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • •Proven ability to deliver non-trivial features independently.
  • •Strong experience with Java / Spring or equivalent backend technologies.
  • •Experience with APIs, messaging systems, and data persistence layers.
