Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor the industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) and ensure treated effluent complies with DOE final discharge standards (Standard B).
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, blowers, dosing systems, and related equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • •Supervise and monitor outsourced technicians to ensure compliance with company and safety requirements.
  • •Maintain accurate performance monitoring, operation logs, and maintenance activity records, and support emergency response activities related to wastewater treatment systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, Utilities Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •CePIETSO Competent Person BP or PCP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
  • •Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems (IETS), wastewater treatment operations, utilities, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience operating and maintaining wastewater treatment equipment including pumps, blowers, dosing systems, and monitoring instruments.
  • •Knowledge of DOE environmental regulations and Standard B discharge requirements.
