Job Summary

Oversee and maintain a customer’s ASTRO 25 Trunking Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system on-site, serving as the primary technical point of contact. Perform daily maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime, and manage the lifecycle of subscriber units through programming, testing, and basic troubleshooting. Program APX/XTS/XTL subscribers using Motorola CPS and Radio Management, provide end-user training, and administer network and security-related functions using LAN/WAN and domain administration practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and maintain a customer’s ASTRO 25 Trunking LMR system as the primary technical point of contact at the customer facility.
•Perform daily maintenance and timely troubleshooting/repairs to minimize downtime.
•Manage subscriber unit lifecycle including programming, testing, issuing, and basic troubleshooting for mobile and portable radios.
•Program APX/XTS/XTL subscribers using Motorola CPS and Radio Management.
•Provide technical training and recommendations to end-users and stakeholders, and communicate complex technical concepts to customers and internal teams.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years of experience with LMR, RF systems, radio communications, telecommunications, networking equipment, IP networking, ASTRO 25/P25, WAVE VoIP, or military experience.
•Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain required background and security clearance levels for U.S. federal government contracting.
•Must be able to complete a Standard Form 86 (SF-86) questionnaire and a Standard Form 89 questionnaire for national security purposes.
•Must possess or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification.
•Must have a current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be willing to reside within a 1-hour commute of the Brunswick, GA site.
