Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and deliver Project Development for Thermal Power Generation projects from concept to construction start with involvement from client operations and maintenance teams.
  • •Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop cost-effective, efficient and innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • •Oversee projects through lifecycle stages: Concept, Development, Construction, Commissioning, Operation, Life-Extension and Retirement.
  • •Advise owners/investors on asset performance, risk, contracts (Construction, Operations & Maintenance, LTSA) and tender documentation.
  • •Author technical notes and reports for stakeholders and lead negotiations on technical matters on behalf of clients, lenders or WSP.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualification in a relevant Engineering subject with significant postgraduate experience in engineering consultancy, project development, operation and maintenance.
  • •Chartered Engineer and a member of a relevant Engineering Institute.
  • •Ability and desire to take a lead role in asset development, construction or operation.
  • •Knowledge of EPC and LTSA arrangements for power generation projects.
  • •Willingness to travel to client sites and other regional offices to support projects.
