Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct academic training including CRM, IRC, TI, LAO, MQT, and upgrade training.
  • •Deliver simulator (MTC) mission training for PACAF pilot training, including basic console operation and direct/support instruction.
  • •Maintain training and evaluation records for each employee, including AF Form 8 (MTCI/CIP) documentation and instructor proficiency training on TTPs, equipment, software, and systems as modified.

Key Requirements

  • •Current operational flight experience within 8 years (unless currently performing similar aircrew instruction duties).
  • •Previous fighter experience as an instructor with aircraft including AV-8, A-10, F-15, F-16, F/A-18, F-22A, F-35 or compatible aircraft ("K" prefix).
  • •Able to perform AF Form 8 Certified Instructor duties in the MTC weapon system using current tactics and employment standards.
  • •Able to fly the simulator as a 2- or 4-ship flight lead while maintaining ground training currency (IRC, CRM, etc.).
  • •US citizen with current Secret clearance eligibility (no dual citizenship).
