  • •Serve as lead counsel (independently) or as part of a team to handle litigation matters in line with Trial Division methodology and claims/client expectations.
  • •Manage cases proactively and efficiently, maintaining a highly productive case volume and quality work product.
  • •Use technology to support case management and collaborate effectively with support staff and other attorneys on-site and remotely.
  • •Provide factually, legally, and analytically sound opinions and promptly update and communicate case valuations to clients and claims.
  • •Mentor junior attorneys and Trial Division staff by providing guidance, training, coaching, and feedback; also maintain professional relationships with key associates and claims partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • •Maintain an active license in the state where the position is located.
  • •Typically, more than eight years of relevant civil litigation experience in property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation.
  • •Demonstrate strong trial advocacy and be able to serve as lead counsel independently (or effectively as part of a team).
