Key Responsibilities

•Oversee daily operations of the coding team, including workload, staffing, hiring, discipline, performance appraisals, training, and quality monitoring.
•Manage DNB (Discharged Not Billed) work queues to consistently meet targets and ensure accurate, timely completion of coding activities.
•Develop and manage coding performance indicators/metrics, and run a comprehensive quality assurance and productivity program.
•Optimize workflows and EHR technology in collaboration with leadership, while directing reporting to management and clinical leadership.
•Ensure coding compliance by maintaining documentation standards and policies, managing coding denial activities, and collaborating with stakeholders on quality profiles and financial performance.

Key Requirements

•Graduate or Post Graduate in Life Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Zoology, or Microbiology discipline.
•Six Sigma certification (Black/Green) Belt.
•PMP certification is an advantage.
•12+ years of industry experience, including 2+ years managing large coding teams.
•CPC (Certified Coding Professional) or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist).
