Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) on a variety of engine case parts to determine and verify conformance to work instructions and repair scope.
  • •Clean and process parts using the FPI Booth and inspect internal case structure using the required inspection equipment.
  • •Prepare and complete required inspection documents (manual and electronic), including reports and stamping to indicate acceptability and completion of work scope.
  • •Collaborate with engineering, quality, quality lab, operations, materials, and other personnel related to the inspection process.
  • •Review work instructions, repair operations requirements, and blueprints; assist the Level III Quality Engineer with developing specific test techniques.

Key Requirements

  • •HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D.) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • •Previous experience/education in NDT methods, specifically Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI).
  • •Experience in aviation component repair (preferred).
  • •Basic knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • •SAP experience (preferred).
