Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a ready-mix concrete truck safely and efficiently to deliver concrete to construction sites per dispatch instructions.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or repair issues.
  • •Ensure concrete quality (slump, etc.) and may add fiber, color, or other additives to the mix.
  • •Maintain communication with the dispatcher and complete delivery tickets and required signatures.
  • •Rinse out the drum and chutes, dump slurry per procedures, and record sales/delivery information and operator logs.
