Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide special education and related services as determined by the IEP team, including communication with parents and related service staff.
  • •Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and required special education documentation.
  • •Facilitate and lead collaborative special education meetings, such as annual IEP meetings.
  • •Use provided resources and make accommodations and modifications to Stride K12 lessons and assessments as specified by the IEP.
  • •Collect and analyze student data and work samples to monitor IEP progress, prescribe remediation and enrichment, and document contact and interventions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and an active state teaching license.
  • •Oklahoma Teaching Certification required, with a Special Education endorsement.
  • •Must be able to clear required background check.
  • •Ability to collaborate with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; able to rapidly learn and adapt to new teaching technologies and platforms.
