Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide daily care for live swine, including vaccination, blood collection, animal movement, sorting, and facility cleanout activities.
  • •Load animals for transport to designated farms, company complexes, and/or processing facilities.
  • •Clean and disinfect barns, vehicles, equipment, and surrounding grounds in accordance with biosecurity standards.
  • •Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and assist with operational flow changes as needed.
  • •Complete Pork Avenue Training Phase 2 for the assigned facility, including computer-based training modules and in-barn verification assessments.

  • •6 months of consecutive work experience in a rolling 12 month period from the date of application.
