Key Responsibilities

  • •Own electrical electronics development for Apollo power electronics and power distribution, designing, simulating, implementing, and testing multi-layer mixed-signal PCBAs.
  • •Own battery module execution across mechanical, electrical, firmware, supply chain, and external vendors under a technical lead.
  • •Develop and execute DVT/PVT validation and test plans, including building test fixtures and using lab equipment to evaluate performance, safety, and reliability.
  • •Perform root-cause analysis and debugging for hardware/firmware defects and implement corrective actions.
  • •Manage component lifecycle via PLM systems and align with vendors/contract manufacturers for production scaling and design-for-manufacturability (DFM/DFA).
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience.
  • •Experience with power electronics including DC/DC converters, three-phase PMSM/BLDC motor controls, switching topologies (FET/GaN), thermal design, and power protection schemes.
  • •Experience with battery modules, battery management systems (BMS), and battery chargers.
  • •Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium, including developing and maintaining design rules.
  • •Proven experience designing, prototyping, and debugging PCB/PCBAs and interfacing with manufacturing during release/build.
