Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership to help strategic customers successfully implement big data projects, including security design and development/deployment best practices with automation.
  • •Architect and optimize production-level workloads, including end-to-end pipeline load performance testing and optimization.
  • •Deliver technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and security for the Databricks intelligence platform.
  • •Assist Solution Architects with advanced technical sales activities such as custom proof of concept content, workload sizing, and custom architectures.
  • •Improve community adoption and act as a technical SME through tutorials, training, hackathons, and conference presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients across industry markets.
  • •Experience as a data platform engineer designing and maintaining production-grade big data systems using Spark.
  • •Hands-on experience designing cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with security and networking best practices (e.g., VPC/VNet, routing, segmentation, private connectivity).
  • •Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation) and security-focused architectures including identity and access management.
  • •Production programming experience in one or more of: Python, Scala, SQL, or R; plus a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering (or equivalent work experience).
