Job Summary

Architect the analytical strategy for Slack’s global web presence within the Marketing function. Lead a experimentation roadmap and causal inference work to optimize conversion from initial web visit to active teams. Own the web analytics stack (Adobe Analytics, GA4), guide privacy-first tracking and tag management (GTM, server-side tracking), and partner with Product and Growth Engineering on CRO. Communicate KPIs and recommendations to senior leadership and use behavioral clustering to identify high-value personas.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and execute a web experimentation roadmap using advanced statistical techniques (e.g., CUPED, sequential testing) to measure incremental lift.
•Set standards for experimental design, hypothesis testing, and power analysis to ensure statistically sound decisions.
•Architect and oversee the web analytics stack (e.g., Adobe Analytics, GA4) with a focus on data integrity.
•Lead privacy-first tracking strategy, including tag management (GTM/GA4) and server-side tracking.
•Partner with Product and Growth Engineering on CRO by aligning analytics with the product roadmap and optimizing user conversion.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or another highly quantitative field.
•Strong ability to establish causality beyond correlation in complex, multi-variable digital environments.
•Deep expertise in SQL and Python/R, including session-stitching, path analysis, and propensity modeling for high-value web behaviors.
•Experience with privacy-first measurement using first-party data and server-side tracking.
•Hands-on experience with a major data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to build scalable, automated visualization layers.
