Job Summary

Conduct data analysis in semiconductor device research to improve thin film solar cell performance, stability, and yield. Own data tables and analysis methods, collect and analyze material samples, and select samples for reliability and performance testing. Apply statistics and engineering methods (e.g., JMP, DOE, SPC) to optimize workflows, and partner with integration and development engineering teams to review and publish findings while working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform data analysis in semiconductor device research to improve thin film solar cell performance, stability, and yield.
•Own data tables, analysis methods, and reporting; identify, organize, submit, and analyze material analysis samples and data.
•Select and submit samples for reliability and performance analysis and collaborate with integration and development engineering teams on data review and publication.
•Apply statistics and engineering methods to optimize workflow and effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve solar cell efficiency.
•Contribute to determining and evaluating process specifications, support cross-functional projects, and comply with Environmental/Quality/Safety policies.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 68,800 - 98,000 annually

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent with 20 years of relevant technical experience, or an Associate Engineer/Development Engineer Technician III equivalent experience.
•Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline (Physics preferred), with the corresponding relevant technical experience levels listed in the posting.
•Advanced knowledge of statistical data analysis techniques, including JMP, DOE, and SPC.
•Hands-on experience executing experiments in a manufacturing environment and interpreting data to derive conclusions.
•Ability to plan and execute work with strong ownership and effective communication skills.
