Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble switchboards/panelboards by selecting and installing components using hand and power tools and established procedures.
  • •Read front views, bill of materials, drawings/blueprints, order entry systems, and oral or written instructions to build custom units.
  • •Perform visual inspections before and after assembly, identify nonconforming parts, and troubleshoot assembly errors.
  • •Maintain job progress in assigned area, communicate problem areas or part shortages, and support root-cause analysis for quality/production issues.
  • •Comply with safety policies, use proper PPE, perform 5S duties, and cross-train/stand in for other employees or job functions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.75 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • •Reside within the immediate area of the Sumter facility (50 mile radius).
  • •Experience in complex assembly or assembly requiring drawings/diagrams.
  • •Proficient reading of blueprints, manufacturing diagrams/drawings, and operating instructions.
