Job Summary

Join AECOM’s Southeast Transportation team as a Roadway Engineer or Designer to contribute to design/build and alternative delivery highway projects across the southern US. Work with Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads on complex highway design, perform standard roadway calculations, and collaborate on mega-projects in a hybrid, office-plus-site setting.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to design/build or Alternative Delivery roadway projects, including mega-projects.
•Perform roadway design calculations (Superelevation, SSD, DSD, acceleration/deceleration lanes) and apply the 2018 AASHTO Green Book.
•Utilize Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads for roadway CAD/design work.
•Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across planning, design, and project management.
•Mentor junior staff and take lead on project tasks as appropriate.

•BS in Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•EIT Certification or PE License; State DOT experience (preferred)
