Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with flagship life sciences institutions to understand workflows end-to-end and help move projects from early exploration to production systems integrated into daily work.
  • •Develop reusable ecosystem infrastructure such as MCP servers for domain-specific data sources, instruments, scientifically grounded benchmarks, and agent skills other institutions can adopt.
  • •Identify what’s hardest about deploying AI in life sciences (heterogeneous data, auditability requirements, and prototype-to-trust gaps) and feed findings back to product, engineering, and research.
  • •Create technical content and documentation that enables partners to self-serve and scale what works without the same level of hand-holding.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep research experience in life sciences, biomedical research, or scientific computing.
  • •Bonus: study areas like genomics, neuroscience, or drug discovery and be comfortable working deeply with academics.
  • •Experience building LLM-powered tools or applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, and evaluation frameworks.
  • •Track record shipping production code as a software engineer, forward-deployed engineer, or technical founder.
