Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and operate the tandem press line for precision manufacturing of stamping parts, including selecting and configuring the production schedule as per plan.
  • •Lead tandem line setup and die set changes for new jobs, and set up and monitor machine performance to maintain quality and productivity.
  • •Utilize Siemens HMI screens to perform diagnostics, resolve machine faults, and troubleshoot tandem lines throughout the plant.
  • •Identify and report defective materials or operational issues; maintain 6-S housekeeping and ensure safety standards are followed, reporting safety issues immediately.
  • •Lead continuous improvement efforts, train and support team members, and report production output, efficiency, scrap rates, and other key performance indicators to shop management.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge of safety and maintenance practices, and the ability to ensure safety standards and compliance are followed on the tandem line.
  • •2–4 years of stamping experience (preferably laser blanking).
  • •Experience with Tandem Press setup and operation, including setting up and executing automatic tandem line die set changes for new jobs.
  • •Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with attention to quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Technical associate degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics).
