Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as responsible Field Supervisor for designated wind farm sites, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant day-to-day operational management.
  • •Ensure site activities and safety/environmental risks follow applicable management systems and conduct safety/technical inspections, audits, and related weekly/monthly reporting.
  • •Coordinate the response and close-out of issues found during inspections or identified as turbine/infrastructure repairs, including managing contractors.
  • •Manage subcontractors to plan and carry out work safely and efficiently while supporting optimal commercial performance without compromising safety.
  • •Provide 24hr call-out/response for site emergencies, perform limited HV apparatus operations, and liaise with stakeholders including landowners and emergency services as required.

Key Requirements

  • •HNC/HND/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
  • •Practical knowledge of electro-mechanical generating plant and experience working under company safety rules or a rule-based system.
  • •Previous windfarm operational management experience and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • •Good organisational and interpersonal skills, with strong self-motivation and flexibility in a changing environment.
  • •Full UK driving licence, working at height qualification, ability to work in enclosed spaces, and willingness to travel across the operational portfolio.
