Key Responsibilities

•Maintain the Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for the project.
•Coordinate with other disciplines and Project Controls functions, assist and support in developing the project budgets per the Estimation Baseline, including scope statements, assumptions, man-hour estimates, financial narratives and client document review/feedback.
•Coordinate with Planning to ensure forecast and proper budget control, and ensure the impact of change requests is evaluated and included in planning.
•Coordinate with procurement, finance and time capture functions, as well as third parties as needed, to manage costs of purchases, materials, subcontracts and man-hours; ensure costs are allocated correctly per approved WBS.
•Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction functions to stay informed about project activities and their impact on budget, schedule and cost forecasting.

Key Requirements

•University degree in a relevant discipline.
•Excellent knowledge of cost software and principles, including budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
•Excellent knowledge of Project Execution Procedures for Cost Management, including Change Management.
•Excellent understanding of WBS and CBS structures with the ability to generate project cost reports.
•Advanced ability to develop project cost budgets and change estimates, and to prepare cost reports.
