Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Discover the customer problem before it’s scoped, understand the business process, and define success metrics (scorecards) upfront.
  • •Build and demo working implementations quickly on the customer’s own documents and environment as part of the sales cycle.
  • •Integrate and stitch solutions across Nutrient’s platform components, including workflow/document engine, APIs, SDKs, and AI extraction.
  • •Productize reusable deliverables from engagements so future customers can use components and self-serve features.
  • •Support the deal alongside account executives and solutions engineers, and document learnings, defects, and templates for the next team.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Run discovery conversations to uncover the job-to-be-done and translate customer process needs into a clear technical solution.
  • •Have shipped production software for years and can build end-to-end as the primary engineer for an engagement.
  • •Be fluent in at least one of JavaScript/TypeScript or .NET/C#/Java/Python/Go, and pick up others quickly.
  • •Be able to design and reason about infrastructure including containers, Kubernetes, at least one of AWS/Azure/GCP, plus Postgres and Redis.
  • •Have production experience with LLMs, including prompt/retrieval design and tuning for extraction quality, cost, and latency.
