Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise the Registrar on changes needed to ADGM’s Founding Law and the Courts’ Regulations, Rules, and Practice Directions to reflect current practice and support just, cost-effective case disposal.
  • •Draft and implement legal framework changes in accordance with ADGM Courts’ policy and direction as advised by the Chief Justice and/or Registrar.
  • •Collaborate with the Registrar on strategic initiatives for ADGM Courts and dispute resolution services, including arbitration and mediation.
  • •Assist and/or represent the Registrar for matters before the Board of Directors, including preparing Board papers and liaising with ADGM’s General Counsel and attending meetings if required.
  • •Support the judiciary and Registrar in managing cases, liaise with law firms and litigants on complex operational issues, participate in relevant UAE and international forums, and manage the team during temporary absences of the Registrar.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
  • •10-12 years’+ experience in a law firm or similar environment in litigation and alternative dispute resolution in a common law jurisdiction.
  • •Advanced research and analytical skills.
  • •Advanced written and oral communication skills, including drafting skills.
  • •Demonstrated leadership experience supervising a team, with high confidentiality, judgment, tact, and discretion.
