Key Responsibilities

  • •Build electrical sub-assemblies and perform mechanical/electrical assembly of satellite components, sub-assemblies, and final vehicle integrations.
  • •Assemble PCB assemblies into product chassis and build battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays.
  • •Perform wire harnessing, soldering, and de-soldering of through-hole and SMT components, and support conformal coating, masking, and epoxy application.
  • •Conduct functional testing of built hardware including setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown.
  • •Operate automated equipment, troubleshoot and maintain equipment, and support prototype test capabilities and test setups across thermal, shock, thermal vacuum, and vibration regimes.

Key Requirements

  • •High school degree or equivalency certificate and 1+ years of hands-on work experience.
  • •Ability to read and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists.
  • •Experience working in an electro-mechanical, precision manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing environment (2+ years preferred).
  • •Ability to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and the Microsoft Office suite.
