Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck and trailer equipment including electrical, brakes, cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, transmissions, differentials, and related systems.
  • •Perform inspections and diagnostics using test instruments; road test vehicles to confirm proper operation.
  • •Maintain and operate the company-issued service vehicle, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Complete DOT forms and documentation, and document work (photos, parts used, findings) on Repair Orders using an iOS device and the TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 5 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination such as degree/certification plus 3 years, or 7 years directly).
  • •DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or a valid DOT medical card with required remaining validity).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply the required set of hand tools to perform job duties.
  • •Required certifications obtained within 18 months: ASE T8 (PMI) and ASE 608/609.
