Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform life cycle and materiel management, including obsolescence, material compatibility, alternate part investigations, maintenance management, and disposal management.
  • •Support design and configuration control for vessels through functional and physical configuration audits and deviations/waivers documentation.
  • •Provide technical advice so electrical/electronic equipment and systems are correctly operated and maintained.
  • •Monitor systems and equipment performance using reports such as UCRs, PIFs, and technical investigations, and conduct failure analysis with solution recommendations.
  • •Develop and review technical documentation and engineering change materials, and prepare/manage work packages and cost estimates for customer approval.

Key Requirements

  • •3-year technical program diploma (Technologists) or 2-year technical program diploma (Technicians) in a marine electrical technical field, or relevant recognized certification/licensing trade qualification in a relevant electrical field.
  • •8 years of demonstrated professional work experience in the naval, marine, or offshore industry within the last 15 years.
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • •Familiar with electrical safety standards.
  • •Strong oral and written communication; English (Essential).
