Key Responsibilities

•Produce facility designs and layouts for electrical and instrumentation systems in brownfield projects
•Understand codes applicable to equipment and construction (NEC, IEC, ASME, AISC, AWS, OSHA, NFPA, local codes, Chevron Standards)
•Perform design tasks for purchasing and construction level drawings with limited supervision
•Create reliable CAD models with precision, including assemblies and layouts with BOMs
•Develop and improve department practices/standards and review scope documents to meet SOW/ COMPANY requirements

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•5-10 years of related engineering design experience in electrical and instrumentation design
•Typically 5+ years of relevant design experience in oil and gas, industrial construction, or power generation industries
•MUST HAVE FIELD EXPERIENCE and be able to work in the US without sponsorship
•Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
•Occasional overnight travel may be required
