Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce facility designs and layouts for electrical and instrumentation systems in brownfield projects
  • •Understand codes applicable to equipment and construction (NEC, IEC, ASME, AISC, AWS, OSHA, NFPA, local codes, Chevron Standards)
  • •Perform design tasks for purchasing and construction level drawings with limited supervision
  • •Create reliable CAD models with precision, including assemblies and layouts with BOMs
  • •Develop and improve department practices/standards and review scope documents to meet SOW/ COMPANY requirements
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •5-10 years of related engineering design experience in electrical and instrumentation design
  • •Typically 5+ years of relevant design experience in oil and gas, industrial construction, or power generation industries
  • •MUST HAVE FIELD EXPERIENCE and be able to work in the US without sponsorship
  • •Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
  • •Occasional overnight travel may be required
