•Design, prototype, and deploy ML algorithms for perception, state estimation, and behavior planning in Python.
•Identify and implement metrics that meaningfully affect vehicle behavior.
•Act as a technical expert balancing short-term deliverables with long-term technical direction.
•Collaborate with cross-discipline experts across the full stack to improve reliability and system performance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 300,000 annually

Key Requirements

•MS/PhD with publications in top-tier ML/CV venues (ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV) or equivalent multi-year industry research experience.
•Expertise in a relevant ML topic such as sequential prediction, structured prediction, inverse reinforcement learning, transformers, or deep learning optimization.
•Strong knowledge of linear algebra, probability theory, and optimization.
•Extensive experience implementing ML in Python with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
•Ability to take ownership in a small-team environment and collaborate across disciplines; must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
