Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine quality checks on products moving through the production line while completing safety checklists and operational logs.
  • •Support DE tests on the production line and conduct developmental tests, including sample fabrication and testing; compile and analyze test data.
  • •Assist in troubleshooting tool/process issues and suggest system improvements to achieve performance goals.
  • •Support operation and maintenance of vacuum deposition tools.
  • •Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering tests (ETAs) and planned process experiments; collect, analyze, and report results.

Salary: USD 23.37 - 32.69 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •AS in engineering, physics, chemistry, electronics, or materials science with 5+ years of similar experience, or BS with 1-2 years, or MS with 0-1 years.
  • •1 year experience in a DET I position at First Solar.
  • •Ability to perform sample testing, semiconductor device fabrication, and/or electrical or optical measurements.
  • •Ability to learn operation, calibration, and preventative maintenance of lab and process equipment and systems.
  • •Competency in sample preparation and measurement; ability to apply statistical methods to analyze data.
