Job Summary

Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to manufacture, deliver, and unload ready-mixed concrete to customer job sites. Follow dispatcher/plant supervisor instructions, deliver according to schedules and dispatch directions, and complete required paperwork and delivery tickets. Maintain safe, clean working conditions, use PPE, comply with OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA practices, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and support additional truck/plant cleaning and maintenance as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to manufacture, deliver, and unload ready-mixed concrete to customer standard satisfaction.
•Work safely and efficiently; maintain the work area and vehicle in a clean and orderly condition (including rinsing the drum before and after deliveries).
•Comply with all OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices and use PPE as directed.
•Maintain communication with the dispatcher or plant supervisor; check delivery tickets for special instructions and complete required paperwork.
•Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; collect money from customers and record transactions; assist with truck/plant cleanliness and maintenance as needed.

Key Requirements

•Must possess a valid minimum Class B CDL (or complete training and pass the CDL exam to attain CDL licensure).
•High school diploma preferred or equivalent; or minimum one year of related experience or training (or equivalent combination).
•Comply with OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices and use PPE as directed.
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports/tickets.
•Utilize tablet/computer skills and follow GPS and/or reading map books.
