Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve environmental programs at SpaceX’s Memphis-area facilities.
  • •Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and keep site compliance plans (including SWPPP and SPCC).
  • •Track and interpret new and proposed environmental laws and provide guidance to management.
  • •Perform environmental audits and maintain compliance calendar and environmental recordkeeping/reports.
  • •Coordinate contractors for permitting and environmental testing and assist with planning facility and equipment changes to meet regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •5+ years professional experience executing environmental and regulatory compliance programs.
  • •Experience working multi-site operations.
  • •Experience in environmental field with 6+ years of environmental and regulatory compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of Tennessee and federal environmental regulations, especially air permitting, water usage/wastewater, stormwater, and hazardous waste.
