Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain the team’s urban drainage modelling capability, ensuring alignment with the latest developments in the discipline.
  • •Support team leads in managing project delivery, including supervision of tasks and review of deliverables.
  • •Provide technical input on urban drainage projects and support the wastewater team in delivering current and future projects.
  • •Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, coordinating and facilitating project meetings internally and with clients.
  • •Support business development and proposal preparation, and promote the WSP brand through industry forums and conferences.

Key Requirements

  • •A relevant degree and chartered status, or being significantly progressed toward qualification with ICE, IEI, IoW or CIWEM.
  • •Clear and successful experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling (InfoWorks ICM) and the ability to check others’ technical outputs prior to issue.
  • •Working knowledge of Water Industry Specifications, Code of Practice for the Hydraulic Modelling of Urban Drainage Systems, and relevant British Standards.
  • •Good written and verbal communication skills in English, including presentation ability.
  • •Independent engineering judgement and proactive, collaborative working style.
