Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in planning audit engagements by understanding scope, objectives, key risks, and required resources.
  • •Perform audit fieldwork, including testing internal controls, transactions, operational processes, and system-generated data per IIA standards.
  • •Apply analytical techniques to identify control gaps, irregularities, or process inefficiencies and complete testing tasks within agreed timelines.
  • •Prepare audit working papers with test steps, evidence, results, and conclusions, and ensure documentation meets internal audit quality standards.
  • •Draft initial audit observations and support audit reporting; communicate preliminary results with process owners and respond to information requests.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Accountant (CA), CIA, or ACA qualification.
  • •UAE Nationals: Bachelor’s degree required; CIA or CISA must be in progress.
  • •4–6 years of professional internal audit experience in the steel or cement industry, or in a consulting firm; Big Four experience preferred.
  • •Ability to perform internal control and audit testing in line with IIA standards.
  • •Fluency in English and Arabic.
