Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and evolve the agent runtime (harness/agent loop) to orchestrate skills, tools, and context, including loop control/intervention, progressive disclosure, and guardrails.
  • •Engineer long multi-turn agent context and memory, including agentic memory, context compaction/summarization, context editing/observation masking, and retrieve-then-load retrieval.
  • •Post-train and fine-tune LLMs (SFT/DPO/RL) and build a data flywheel that converts served conversations into training/evaluation/retrieval signals.
  • •Design and integrate tools/skills and MCP connectors (tools-as-APIs), including skill/tool search for large inventories.
  • •Build evaluation with LLM-as-judge and human-agreement calibration, plus regression/safety/cost/latency-aware harnesses to close the offline-to-online gap.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Strong Python plus experience with at least one of C++ / Go / Rust / Java.
  • •Solid ML/DL/NLP fundamentals with hands-on experience using LLMs or agents (research, coursework, internship, competition, open-source, or a serious side project).
  • •Able to read a paper or an engineering blog and turn it into working code.
