Job Summary

Join the Data & AI Platform Engineering team to keep data and AI platforms running reliably, efficiently, and securely for global retail operations. You’ll monitor production systems with observability tooling, respond to incidents on call, and help drive blameless post-mortems. Reduce operational toil through automation, and improve CI/CD reliability. Operate and maintain GCP workloads (GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, GCS, Composer) using IaC and support multi-cloud standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor production systems using observability tooling (dashboards, alerts, and logs) to detect and triage issues before impacting end users.
•Participate in on-call rotations, respond to incidents using runbooks, and escalate appropriately.
•Contribute to blameless post-mortems by documenting root causes and follow-up action items to prevent recurrence.
•Maintain and improve SLO dashboards and alerting thresholds to make platform health visible and measurable.
•Reduce operational toil by automating repetitive manual tasks and writing/maintaining scripts and CI/CD pipeline components to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
•6+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform/Infrastructure Engineering in production environments.
•Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, especially GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and GCS.
•Working proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Helm.
•Experience with observability tooling (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting) and understanding of SLO/SLI concepts.
•Proficiency in at least one scripting or systems language (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation and operational tooling.
