Job Summary

Deliver construction equipment safely and efficiently from the Advanced Solutions rental facility in Helena, MT. Operate a vehicle in compliance with state and federal transportation laws, transport loads on assigned routes, and handle loading/unloading with specialized equipment. Maintain delivery paperwork and documentation, perform routine truck checks, report maintenance issues, and support yard organization for optimal trailer loading. Work Monday–Friday with overtime after 40 hours and on-call scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and on time over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas, follow loading crew signals, and assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment.
•Maintain signed invoices and shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading) and deliver paperwork to the appropriate staff after route completion.
•Facilitate routine truck service checks (oil, water, gasoline, air) and report maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

•Hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license, appropriate for the vehicle weight operated.

•Provide strong interpersonal and customer service skills when speaking professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
•Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time.
